KARI JENSEN THOMAS |
|
Owner/officer
Kari Jensen Thomas has a background in both marketing and law. Kari
graduated from Augustana College in 1992 with a B.A. degree in
Government-International Affairs and Business Administration. In 1995, she
graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and began a clerkship with
a Minneapolis judge while preparing students for the bar examination in
seven states. Kari has also worked as the Director of Marketing &
Operations for a legal placement company, as Associate Director for
Career Services at a Twin Cities' law school, and, currently works as a
Recruiting Specialist for a prominent Twin Cities' law firm. Fortunately for SGI, Kari had worked
for a start-up company before-though not related to the game or gift
industry—and thus was no stranger to the hard work it takes to build a
company from the ground up, establish market share, and run the operations
side. In addition to marketing and selling the Chick Game, Kari is
responsible for all of the financial aspects of SGI's business.

association, which armed her with valuable experience in writing business
plans, spotting marketing opportunities and serving as a media
spokesperson. Currently, she is a consultant with a Twin Cities' legal
placement firm, and is working on several writing projects. She also has
prior experience promoting a string of bands in which she has sung over
the past decade. |
